Would you like to have Christmas Dinner with me, my sister and the other two from my world on December 25th? Esther has invited a few of her friends, and the others may as well. You're the first to come to my mind.

I... don't even know if you have Christmas as a holiday on your Earth or even what I'm talking about, but it's a big deal for those of my faith. You're welcome to join me for mass, but I'm certainly not expecting you to have any interest in that unless you're Christian as well.

[ It's nice to hear from Mary as it always is. Asami had left her palm reader in another room while she was working on a new project and hadn't heard it go off. But when she returns, she listens to the voice mail with a smile on her face. She's used to hearing a larger command of confidence in Mary's voice, so this is an interesting change.

Christmas dinner?

Of course Asami has no idea exactly what that entails or what joining anyone for mass (mass what?) is supposed to mean, but what matters is this is clearly a celebration that's important to Mary, dear to her heart.

I don't know if your world has Valentine's Day or something like it, but that's what today is. It's a holiday, dedicated to a martyr of my faith, that honors those one loves and cares deeply for. I wish I could give these gifts to you in person, but unfortunately I'm scheduled on patrol all day. Again.
