[In the morning, before Asami left for work, a courier delivered a long box tied with a blue ribbon. Inside the box was a single red rose - a real rose - and a small black pouch that contained a necklace and a thumb drive.

There was a video file on the thumb drive of Mary in her Albion uniform, though the coat was open and her hair was down, curling about her - the dark brown streaks it currently had from the nanomachines easily visible.]

I don't know if your world has Valentine's Day or something like it, but that's what today is. It's a holiday, dedicated to a martyr of my faith, that honors those one loves and cares deeply for. I wish I could give these gifts to you in person, but unfortunately I'm scheduled on patrol all day. Again.
